Free online courses from MIT
You’re never too old to learn. Don’t let an empty piggy bank stand in your way of getting a free education either!
Got a computer and the time and energy? Chances are there’s a free online course to suit you courtesy of MIT OpenCourseWare (OCW), made available by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. At last count there were over 1800 courses to choose from. The coursework is extensive and as their own description says “reflects almost all the undergraduate and graduate subjects taught at MIT.” You have access to lecture notes, exams and videos. Registration is not required. All for free, no cost whatsoever!
See their FAQ for more information on OCW. Below are their offerings to date. You can also subscribe by email to receive updates on new course information and what’s happening at OCW.
